Having comorbidities increases the risk of infection and COVID-19 severity. Studies have shown that pregnant women are no more vulnerable than the general population. This study aims to determine the characteristics of pregnant women infected with COVID-19 who are hospitalised at Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital (SSIDH). We conducted a descriptive study of medical records at SSIDH from April 2020 to June 2023 using a total sampling technique of all pregnant women admitted to SSIDH during the study period. The exclusion criteria were incomplete data. We found 181 data on pregnant women during the study period. Data were univariate and analysed by proportion. Most were 31-35 years old (n=91; 50.2%), and experienced moderate COVID-19, with cough (n=120; 66.3%), runny nose (n=63; 34.8%), and fever (n=60; 33.1%). Most pregnant women experienced moderate COVID-19 (n = 170; 93.9%) with symptoms. Most pregnant women came in the third trimester (n=139; 76.8%) and gave birth by cesarean section (SC) (n=139; 76.8%). HIV/AIDS (n=5; 2.8%) and hypertension (n=3; 1.7%) are the most common comorbid disease. We found three mortality cases (1.8%) due to critical COVID-19.
